Treasure Chest

A television lift disguised as something with a much better story.

This one-off object conceals a screen inside an ornate chest, turning a familiar piece of furniture into a small act of transformation. Closed, it keeps the technology out of sight. Activated, the television rises from within.

The project belongs to MODA’s early experiments in making technology behave like architecture, furniture, and theater at once—the same line of inquiry that would later inform more scalable products.
