Palazzo Chupi Television Lift

Before screens learned to disappear, we taught this one how.

Created for Palazzo Chupi, this custom cabinet concealed a television inside a materially expressive object designed to belong to the room. The mechanism appears only when called upon; otherwise, the technology yields to the architecture.

Developed in 2009, the piece is part of MODA’s design lineage—an early exploration of concealment, transformation, and the idea that technology can shape an experience without dominating it.
